Warmth, sourced at speed, for people who had nothing else.
In 2020 the ordinary supply chains for protective and emergency equipment seized. What had been a commodity became scarce almost overnight, and the institutions that needed it most could not wait for the market to correct itself.
Tecship sourced and moved emergency mylar thermal blankets, together with face masks and nitrile gloves, through a trusted reseller and into United States government distribution. The blankets were issued at the southern border, to people in the government’s care who needed warmth before they needed anything else.
It was a procurement problem, solved quickly and without noise, under conditions that left no margin for error. We claim nothing more than that. The coordination was ours. The moment belonged to the people it reached.
